Especially in the IT sector it is a great challange to simplify complex data. Using diagrams often doesn't help if you are using stock images which are greatly resembling those of the competitors.

For the IT company Swyx I developed an own image language, which can be used easily to create understandable diagrams. Icons are used to symbolize users or devices, different ways to connect are shown by different colours and captions.

With this I was also able to create rich animations, which interactively show and tell the advanteges of the product to the customer. Here are some examples.
